We were picked up for our tour on time by T our tour guide.
Once we were fitted out with bike and helmet, we set off,
We felt safe 99% of the time, I had an issue that my 14 year was stuck in the middle of the road while the guide kept riding. After expressing that I wasn’t happy with not having a guide behind us, that was immediately fixed by another guide being called to ride behind us.
Overall we enjoyed our ride and riding down the back lanes and alleys of Ho Chi Minh.
After chatting to the guides they tell me that a group of 4 or more will go with 2 tour guides 1 in front and one behind.
I feel that even if it’s 1 or 10 riders you need to make sure there is 2 guides, just for when your turning across the traffic its just much safer.
