The place is not easy to get to, with many narrow winding roads, but once you get there it’s a charming spot right next to the yellow bridge. The staff were friendly and helpful as they guided us step by step to make our rings. Be prepared to get some arm and leg exercise in during the process! We ended up only taking around 30 minutes to complete our rings, but I guess it depends on the complexity of the ring design you choose. We enjoyed the experience and left with a greater appreciation for the hard work that goes into craftsmanship. There’s also a bar and restaurant downstairs within the same place that overlooks the beautiful river!

Beautiful experience making canang saris with my 7 years old daughter with a balinese grandma helping us, she enjoyed it very much and was very mindful and relaxing activity for her It was lovely to learn about balinese religion and pray together was a special moment. Highly recommended activity to do!

Hanung and all the people working there were very kind . The explanations were simple and clear and the best way tu understand is to practice ! I had time for this. Dont skip the step where you can draw all little details, it's the best ! And after that the colouring process is awsome. A greatfull experience. And when you leave Hanung, he send you a nice little vídeo to keep in memory this enjoyable class !!

If I could put more stars I would! Such a good time if you like crafting! Learning about how to make Batik is great in itself, we learn and get to practice every step of the real thing. The staff were amazing, helpful, and smiling, I tried something quite difficult and they helped me choose the right colour and make subtle shades. Be careful you need way more than 3h to make something complex. The staff has been kind enough to finish the final steps for me and to deliver it to my hotel. But I would have needed 5h in total. And the staff is not rushing you, so you have no idea you are late ahah.
