Amazing!
Chans took us to all the less touristy spots using the kayak. We saw amazing lagoons, witnessed an amazing sunset. In the evening we had a nice dinner and did another kayak tour where we could see the blue bioluminescent algae.
Afterwards we finished the day at a local fisherman's family, where chans showed us how to clean a jellyfish.
I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cat Ba!

The lagoon was beautiful and we were given plenty of time to explore by ourselves. The guide was very friendly and overall it was an amazing experience. We recommend the morning time slot

Very well organised. Safe and considerate to my wishes. Plenty of things to do and a good experience. Guide was very good; adapted activities to my level of skill and fitness. Fully recommend as a good value way to fill half a day

The highlight of our trip to Ha Long area/Kat Ba area. Very well organised tour, the 2 guides Alex and Alexis were very nice, patient with us and made us feel very safe (given that it was our first outdoor climbing experience).
We had a nice lunch at a floating restaurant, and got to enjoy the Ha Long Bay views from the boat.
Personnel from the agency were very helpful and helped us book a private speed boat to the island and back (we stayed in Ha Long City).

I'm really glad that Seek Sophie has experiences in Cat Ba because I think it's such a gem that people really should not miss when you're in Vietnam!
We went during rainy season and a full moon night, so the bioluminescent plankton wasn't bioluminescing very strongly. So those aren't prime conditions (you should go when its deeper in winter like Jan-Feb and when it's NOT a full moon), so do your research and plan in advance if you really want to see the immense like blue colour! Nevertheless we still saw a bit of it of the plankton glow and that still was pretty :)
The highlight for me was actually going onto the boat, seeing the fishing village, seeing sunset meeting new people. And kayaking surrounded by the mountain views and enjoying the beautiful like moonlit sky - I thought was already beautiful in itself. It was so surreal. Very very very peaceful and I enjoyed that a lot!

We had an excellent time with Chans during our tour. We were lucky enough to be just by ourselves, which made it even more special. The largest part of the trip you'll be kayakking at a leisurely pace from bay to bay, away from the larger cruise ships. This was a great way to enjoy nature without being disturbed by tons of people. It was so much fun catching crabs and later eating them on the beach. Chans is very knowledgeable and shows great respect for the surroundings and local fisherman's families trying to make a living on the water.

Really really lovely guide, spoke a perfect English and was really trying to make us enjoy the experience as much as possible.
Swimming at sunset was amazing, as much as kayaking in the dark to scout the bioluminescent plankton.
They even arranged a taxi to bring us back to the hostel that was not initially in their plan for the bus to come back to.

Chans was an amazing tour guide. We went to such beautiful areas that were not surrounded by any tourists, it felt like it was all for us! We had such an amazing time. Then we finished with a barbecue dinner which was delicious, and the fisherman’s village was so lovely as well. Thank you so much Chans!!
