Pros: beautiful setting, lovely, clean accommodation, very relaxing and chilled, short drive from KL, friendly staff. Cons: the service is consistently appalling, and the food, if you pay for the food package, is mediocre at best. We were here for two days and had the food package (breakfast, lunch and dinner); for each meal over the two days we were given a time at which the meal would be served. The closest we got to eating on time was about 90 minutes after the allotted time. This is unacceptable especially if you have very young children and have to plan their nap times into your day. Additionally, food had to be sent back numerous times as it was stone cold, and staff had to be constantly chased for things they had forgotten. Also, the resort was told months in advance that one of the party, a nine-year-old girl, has coeliac disease and cannot eat anything with wheat, gluten, or barley. We were assured that this would be catered for - it absolutely wasn’t. At meal times the food was delivered with no explanation of what she could eat (usually very little as it turned out) and none of the staff knew about her allergy - despite being told in advance and reminded before we arrived. For breakfast on the first morning she was given the previous night’s broccoli and cauliflower? Really? How difficult is it to go to the supermarket and pick up some gluten free bread and pasta - obviously too difficult for Tiarasa even at the sky-high prices we paid to stay here. The staff were very apologetic when we complained, but unfortunately things didn’t change. I’m not sure if the place is understaffed but it’s such a shame because with only a little bit of effort it could be a nailed-on five star rating. We definitely would not recommend and we will not return.

We’ve been looking forward to come here for ages. But after coming here we were in for a huge disappointment. First off the place is really understaffed. You have to wait and wait for anything to get done. Can’t blame the staff really. Not their fault. But when you are trying to tout the place as a luxury camping. Destination and run it on such a large scale, there should be ample manpower to cater to all the guests. Then there’s the food. It’s not so that good. Food is served cold at dinner. And some of the meat is undercooked at the bbq. It’s just really overrated on Instagram on celebrity blogger pages. But In real life a huge disappointment

A new era of glamping, Tiarasa leaving up to expectations! Family friendly resort and a five star service by the resort staff. Food was amazing with good selection of local and western cuisine. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend to friends and family.
