We stayed at the one-bedroom house for five days which is about 10-15 walk from the main property. It was quite large and very comfortable (and very private), but the location made renting scooters critical for us - our 10-year old is not the fastest walker or bike rider. We could take the kayak directly across the small inlet to the beach for sunset or just watch from our patio, and walk to a few restaurants on the road, plus there is a convenience store next door for drinks and snacks, BEST OF ALL, Peter was an amazing host - he answered every question and made us feel very comfortable, like family. We loved it all! A bit fewer mosquitos, but that's part of visiting the tropics.

The hosts were friendly and they introduced us and guided us through the rooms and neighbourhood. The fishing village is a great place to chill and you can also go kayaking or fishing. We kayaked to the beach for the sunset and it was great fun! :) The beds are comfortable and hosts are approachable if you have any queries during your stay with them! Very good experience in the fishing village I must say! :)

We loved our stay at the river mouth homestay! The location is perfect if you want to escape the touristic parts of Phu Quoc. There are some wild beaches nearby and you can easily take a motorbike to explore the island. What we loved most, is the sun deck. The view is amazing and it’s the perfect place to relax. The host is very friendly en is happy to help you with everything. We will certainly be back one day!

Our bungalow had a lovely verandah on the river edge. We felt very welcome by our hosts and the food was better than most restaurants we tried elsewhere.

I had the most wonderful, relaxing 4 days at this place. The location is amazing, overlooking the river. The riverside deck was the perfect location for breakfast, dinner, reading in a hammock, meeting other guests, catching the sunrise/sunset. I also loved paddling down the river on one of the paddle boards (which are free to use at any time). The beds are very comfy and the whole place was always very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was also so nice to be away from the crowds of the south of the island. The local area was great to wander around and all the local people were so friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend this place!
