Liked · Very authentic, well kept, beach resort in a secluded part of the island with a nice beach and great pool. Not too ‘resorty’ Disliked · Beds were a bit hard, but the rooms overall were lovely with a big bathroom.

I have been visiting this place since opening in 2013. Setting is beautiful, wood usage is very tasteful, beautiful gardening and pool. Rooms are simple but nice with white driftwood, a theme which goes through the whole resort. Showers need overall, and I hate curtains for 250 SGD per night, that doesnt reflect the pricetag. However.... Prices have doubled since then. I paid now 250 SGD per night incl. tax for 2. BBQ cost 450k IDR p.p,, Ginger tea in the morning charge is 35k IDR. Bintang 60k IDR per can. They ask for 250k IFR for one hour rent of SUP. I get this for free in other places with this price tag. Massage is excellent, but also expensive for Indonesia. The prices are now like at all Bintan Resorts in the north, but these are run more professional as service remains poor. They are nice but clueless and stuck to inflexible rules put on them. For a lower pricetag you close your eyes on this but not for 250k SGD anymore. Get things sorted and make prices reasonable, otherwise people wont come.

Liked · Loved the attention to the eco aspects of the place - thatched roofs, recycled /local wood, glass straws. Good vegetarian options. Not having a big breakfast buffet spread reduces waste which is great. Wi fi connectivity in the rooms and common areas was excellent. Good range of cable TV channels too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Disliked · The beach is clean and private but not ideal for swimming. So it would be good to have some outdoor facilities/activities such as swings, trampolines, dart boards, kite flying, darts available onsite for guests to use.

Liked · I liked everything about this place. It is very peaceful and has wonderful, polite, experienced and extremely helpful staff. The beach is beautiful and you can walk, explore and enjoy pieces of coral reef washed to the beach.

Liked · Trikora Beach Club was a little piece of Paradise for me. Sun, Sea, Rest, Unwind. I spent my days between the pool and the ocean. The staff were beyond helpful. My only feedback would be to add more authentic Indonesian flavours in terms of Music, Coffee, Tea and Food. Thank You to the team at Trikora Beach Club for taking such good care of me. So excited for the Spa over the ocean to be completed. Disliked · I Loved Everything!!!
