This is a 3-hour immersive experience where your child will learn how to fish and experience being a kampong kid for a day. Parents are required to drop-off their kids for this activity.Option DetailsLet your child experience some fun in the natural stream while spotting longkang fishes and crafting their own primitive fishnet/trap. An experienced outdoor coach will bring your children outdoors to get hands-on and enjoy the popular old-school activity – Longkang Fishing. What is Longkang fishing?Longkang Fishing had been a popular hobby among Singapore children in the 60s. Back then, children would visit these “Longkangs” (drains in Malay) or natural streams after and during the rain to catch small fishes, usually with glass/plastic containers or bottles. Let your child experience this magical pastime! Option Highlights ✅ Stoke children's curiosity & build their confidence ✅ Go off the beaten track!✅ Explore with an experienced outdoor coach✅ Impart a sense of love for the outdoors to your kids and allow them to get a break from the screen✅ Difficulty level: NormalTime slots & Meeting PointThe activity is available weekly on Saturday, 8:30am - 11:30am.The meeting point will be in Clementi area. Full details will be provided upon booking confirmation.Important NotesThis is suitable for children aged 4 years old onwards. Please bring an old t-shirt to turn into a makeshift fishing net.Longkang Adventures requires a minimum of 5 sign-ups in order to run this activity. In the case of insufficient sign-ups, the host will advise on the next steps thereafter and may postpone the activity to another mutually agreed date.Parents are required to drop-off their kids for this activity. For parents who would like to join their kids for an adventure, head over to the private trip option. The activity will go on in the case of light rain. Should there be a heavy downpour, the coach will do the risk assessment to decide if everyone needs to stop the activity.

We booked 2 separate session for mommies n boys forest trail.. gets to feel the experience in the forest which we never forget.. especially the boys very happy enjoyed the fun n make new friends..

Clementi Forest Hike & Jungle Survival Skills for Kids (Age: 7+, Drop-Off)
my 2 boys participated in 1 of the adventure at clementi forest. i was estatic when my 2 'hard to please' boys came back happy and satisfied. they kept telling me what they did over and over again and requested that i booked another session ASAP. Highly recommend

This is our first time sending our boys away (ever) and it was the best decision ever, Alhamdulillah! I’m so happy they had so much fun making new friends, exploring the forest and catching longkang fish. This is our first time but won’t be our last.

If you can't travel because of Covid restrictions, you can choose to get a full refund,
Seek Sophie credits (no expiry, 110% of trip value) or reschedule your trip at no additional cost.
