Kokeball is inspired by the Japanese art of Kokedama- which translates to “moss-ball”. Each plant has its roots held together by soil, enveloped in moss and held together by colourful yarn or an organic twine, so it becomes a living planter and a distinct centrepiece in your home. The Workshop Learn the secret to making your very own green art sculpture using the Japanese gardening technique, and start your journey on creating your very own urban jungle in your apartment! Natasha and Nathaniel, the dynamic siblings co-founders of Kokeball, will also be more than happy to provide planting tips for any newbie plant parents! Schedule Workshops are mainly held on Saturdays, 1pm - 2.30pm at Sing See Soon Nursery (Simei). Sing See Soon Nursery is a large and airy outdoor space that provides an easy and comfortable workshop location. If you would like a different plant, feel free to purchase directly from the nursery to incorporate in your kokeball instead. If group size is small, the location may be at Farrer Park Freeflow Studio instead.
