Review Body: We wanted a relaxing holiday with quality family time and that is exactly what we got!! The staff could not have been more helpful from my first email enquiry, through to check in/out and all interactions with staff throughout our stay. We booked the one bedroom Villa Serai with private pool. It was lovely to have our own space to relax in and the villa is really spacious with bedroom/en suite in a separate villa to one side and the kitchen/dining/lounge/separate toilet in another villa joined by a covered deck. It was my husband's birthday so he was pleasantly surprised to find a birthday message, chocolate cake and bottle of sparkling grape juice on arrival. There were also toys set up in the lounge and bathroom for our young son, along with a port a cot. We had booked the meal package with our reservation, we had a choice of 3 different breakfast packages each day, with a buffet breakfast in the Club House on the Sunday morning. Dinner each night was a set menu which included entrees, mains and deserts, they also provide a kids menu that you can order from for the youngsters. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. The food was really delicious and there was plenty of it! We also had the option of eating in the Club House or our Villa, we chose our Villa as it was more relaxing with our son, they brought everything required and set it up on our dining table, also clearing everything away when we called once we had finished. The kitchen does have a decent sized fridge, cooktop, microwave and toaster, and basic cooking utensils so you can cook some meals if you wanted. We were impressed with the recycling bins in the kitchen which we find rare in Malaysia. The manicured grounds of the entire property are gorgeous with lots of stunning flowers. The peace and quiet was a welcome break from the noise of KL but only a quick 45 minute drive which means it's a great location for a weekend away. The sound of the waterfall running into our private pool was so relaxing and our son loved being able to swim as much as he wanted. My husband enjoyed a massage, whilst I had a facial and body scrub. The treatments were done by the side of our pool whilst listening to the birds. A staff member also happily kept our young son entertained so we could enjoy our treatments at the same time. We had asked for a late check out if possible and were lucky to be able to enjoy the villa until 2pm on Sunday. I would definitely recommend this place and we will certainly be back, but next time will be looking to stay longer.

Review Body: We spent 3 nights in this delightful, peaceful sanctuary.Our accommodation was Villa Serai, a one bedroomed pool villa accessed by going down a few steps, an interesting feature that sort of create an eagerness to return to each time.We looked forward, every time to going through the wooden door, down the pebbled concrete steps to our haven, that had separate bedroom& living/kitchen,joined by timber decking.It's a very private space, pure bliss just to be there, whether in the villa itself or in the pool or just lounging on the deck reading, sometimes just listening to the sounds of bird song & occasional cicadas. We were taken care of by Taufik & his team; they were outstanding.The service was impeccable,their hospitality warm & sincere, we felt very welcomed & pampered. Housekeeping was excellent with evening turn down service, food was delicious & reasonably priced. You can choose to have your breakfast at your own villa, which we did on the first morning but we preferred to have all our meals at the Clubhouse surrounded by immaculate gardens & attentive staff. Coffee was great too. And yes, Embun Luxury Villa is a place that we would love to return to, It certainly made a lot of difference to have little touches like flowers & foliage in our bedroom, candle lighting during the evenings, welcoming basket of fruit, all of these details added up to a most memorable wonderful experience.

Review Body: The name itself tells it all - "Embun Luxury Villas" and indeed, it was luxurious in every sense of the word. Located at a secluded place in Janda Baik with a breathtaking view of our rain forest, it was absolutely phenomenal from the moment you stepped into the villa. They have one of the friendliest crews I've ever met, most attentive and genuinely offering you the best service you truly deserve. They can only accommodate maximum 32 guests at any one time, so you will certainly get the attention you deserve as VIPs. The whole place is just spectacular from the views to the landscape to the villas and let's not forget, the FOOD. The Manager in-charge was trained as a professional Chef and he used to work in London for about 8 years, so rest assured the food they serve is really scrumptious from breakfast to lunch and dinner. You will agree with me that it was worth the money spent and I know for sure that I'm coming back to splurge myself in one of a kind experience that Embun Luxury Villas has to offer - well done to the team.

Review Body: This place is amazing! From the moment we stepped into reception until our check out we were treated like royalty by the staff of Embun Luxury Villas. The landscape really made us feel like we were in Bali. With the water features at the Clubhouse and furniture in the villa that we stayed in. The view from our balcony was breathtaking & green & calming. We came to celebrate our anniversary in peace & quiet and achieved just that. We had dinner in the villa and the staff surprised us with an anniversary cake & sparkling grape juice! We ate breakfast at the Clubhouse sitting by the pool. It was surreal with the mini waterfall & the fish pond & the gentle wind cooling us. Kudos to Taufik & his amazing crew. Luxury here doesn't just refer to the villas but the service given too. Will definitely plan a return visit. The drive up to reception was a bit steep so remember to drive carefully.

Review Body: We were there for lunch and immediately fell in love with Embun. Taufik,the Resort Manager, brought us for a viewing, and we fell deeper in love!! The Serai villa is nicely decorated, VERY clean, breakfast served in the room (husband isn't a morning person, and i wake up at 6 am everyday. So, the breakfast in bed is perfect! (They have buffet served at the cafe if you want too!) We are suckers for good customer service, and this is where you find amazing hospitality everywhere you go! The people are just polite, smiley and nice. To end our impromptu stay, Embun surprised us further with a bottle of sparkling juice and a nice chocolate cake. This is not a paid ad, just in case you are curious, but really! Please, check them out. I love Bali decor but don'y quite fancy Bali anymore as it gets too touristy nowadays.So, this is your Bali Villa in Janda Baik.

Review Body: This place is truly a gem and a benchmark for all Villas! It has the facilities of a hotel whilst maintaining the intimacy and privacy of a villa. The service is fantastic and extremely personalized. Kudos to Taufik and his team to their attention to details. This is where they rate above and beyond - it's all in the details. From the lovely flower arrangements, perfect breakfast setting in the villa, turn down service in the evenings, fruit basket from their orchard and delicious artisan chocolates at night. We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We would love to try out more villa's on this property as each villa has its on unique feature and charm to it. Embun is what I would call the perfect holiday home

Review Body: We travel a lot all over the glob, and always at 5*, however, this is one of a kind sort of place especially for families and honeymooners. The place, staff and food will be beyond your expectations. You should plan for minimum 3 days stay because you simply won’t want to leave. Absolutely nothing to dislike. In fact, I would like to thank each and everyone of your staff for the professional and extremely kind service in taking extra steps to ensure that guest are happy 24/7.. Review Body: This place was magical.. went to Embun with some family friends and we were all blown away by this place.. we felt worshipped like the Gods themselves (thumbs up to the resort manager, great guy), the food tasted as if Gordon Ramsay was cooking our food himself and the villa.. oh wow, it was oozing luxury.. thinking about Embun makes me want build a time machine so we can relive our moments there. I would seriously recommend this place to all the atas people in Malaysia and abroad who wants first class treatment in a world class resort.. keep up the good work to all the people in Embun..

Review Body: Specifically went this place for their restaurant. You will need to book one day in advance via their website easily. The fact that their villas are really expensive, the food rate is like normal cafe rate. You can find a mix of western and local cuisine that will changes time to time. With such setting and price, the experience was pleasant. I also kinda like how the staffs were friendly although we weren't staying over. The only thing that I would wanna make bit noise will be the food waiting time. It was bit long or I was bit too hungry? Personal fav: crispy duck and mango salad!!

Review Body: Embun Villa was pleasantly comfortable. the surrounding forest bring us closer to nature. The rooms are beautifully design and clean. The pools have a breath taking view. Huge toilets with a lovely bathtub that could have probably fit 3 people. The staff is always friendly they keep smiling and are always happy to help. The food is definitely a highlight it was wholesome, healthy and delicious. Would like to give special thanks to Cok Dharma, Aishah and Nurul for being attentive.

Review Body: Spent one night here and we could only wish for more! the villa was spacious and clean and the food were delish! we had both breakfast and dinner served in the villa itself which was very convenient considering we have a young kid and 2 teens, one of which didnt wanna leave the nest! the staff were also very friendly :) oh and did i mention, the whole place looks as good as the pictures posted by the management?

The view of the surrounding green and hills was refreshing. The villas were superb and spacious . Everything was in its place and extreme care and thought was definitely an input to make the whole place so beautiful. The stay was definitely relaxing . Must come again!
