From the beginning of the trip i.e from the time you book it you will be taken good care. The bus picks you up at 7:30 am and the first person you meet will be "An". What a wonderful guide he is. Funny and helpful. An & Jenifer (The bus driver) will make your 3.5 hour journey such a wonderful drive that you won't even realise when it's over. Every men on that cruise is always smiling and is ready to help you. About the food, it was tasty and was presented in the most amazing way. Two most amazing things to do is Kayaking and participate in cooking class(boys should do it) as a special treat for their lady. It's a heaven for Meat lovers, though it can be a bit tough on pure vegetarians..😃

This cruise was nice. The food was plentiful and nice. Rooms were good. Staff was extremely helpful. I would avoid spending any money on any of their spa options. They are not licensed masseuse, and the same person giving you an award massage is serving you dinner. Save your money.

Wife & I stayed 1 night 2 days. Cabin was of large size. Good size shower/ toilet room. Food was excellent. Great service as well. The trips were well timed. Drinks expensive to what we were used to paying.

The Oriental Sails Halong Cruise was included in our Vietnam holiday package and was definitely worthwhile, even though the weather was cold, rainy and miserable. The food on board was very yummy and generous - except for the pork and beef - which were very tough and overcooked. Drinks are not included in the price and there is quite a lot of pressure from the staff to purchase bottles of wine and other alcohol. The staff are helpful and efficient and very organised. On board included activities include a cooking demonstration, sunrise taichi, after dinner karaoke and dancing, a bamboo boat ride around the bay and local fishing village (or kayaking) and morning visit to a limestone cave. Please don't stay too long in the Dining Room after dinner as this doubles as the staff sleeping quarters! The guest cabins are comfortable and include an ensuite with hot water for showers which was very appreciated after our bamboo boat rides in the cold and rain. Halong Bay is very beautiful and 1 night, 2 days is sufficient for this excursion.
