Day 1: Kathmandu - Taplejung

You will take on a 24-hour drive by bus to the district of Taplejung, where your trek will start.

  • 08:00am - Meet-up at Chaksibari Marg
  • 24-hour drive by bus to Taplejung, 1800m.
Day 2: Taplejung - Chiruwa

You will trek to Chiruwa for 7 hours, stopping for lunch on the way.

  • 7-hour trek to Chiruwa, 1270m.
Day 3: Chiruwa - Sukamthum

You will trek to Sukamthum for 5 to 6 hours.

  • 5 to 6-hour trek to Sukamthum, 1576m.
Day 4: Sukamthum - Amjilosa

You will trek to Amjilosa for 5 to 6 hours.

  • 08:00am - Meet-up at Chaksibari Marg
  • 5 to 6-hour trek to Amjilosa, 2308m.
Day 5: Amjilosa - Gyabla

You will trek to Gyabla for 5 to 6 hours.

  • 5-6 hour trek to Gyabla, 2730m.
Day 6: Gyabla - Ghunsa

You will trek to Ghunsu for 4 to 5 hours.

Day 7: Ghunsa

Day 8: Ghunsa - Khangpachen - Camp

You will trek to Khangpachen for 4 to 5 hours, before setting up camp.

Day 9: Khangpachen - Lhonak - Camp

You will trek to Lhonak for 4 to 5 hours, before setting up camp.

  • 4 to 5-hour trek to Lhonak and campsite, 4780m.
Day 10: Lhonak - Pangperma

You will trek to Pangperma for 4 to 5 hours, before setting up camp.

  • 4 to 5-hour trek to Pangperma and campsite, 5143m.
Day 11: Pangperma - Kanchenjunga Base Camp

You will trek for 5 to 6 hours to the Kanchenjunga Base Camp.

  • 5 to 6-hour trek to Kanchenjunga Base Camp, north of Khangpachen. 4050m.
Day 12: Kanchenjunga Base Camp - Ghunsa

You will trek for 4 hours to Ghunsa.

Day 13: Ghunsa - Sele la Pass, Mirgin la

You will trek for 5 hours to Sele la pass, Mirgin la.

Day 14: Mirgin la - Cheram

You will trek to Cheram for 7 to 8 hours.

Day 15: Cheram - Tortong

If you can't travel because of Covid restrictions, you can choose to get a full refund, Seek Sophie credits (no expiry, 110% of trip value) or reschedule your trip at no additional cost. Your choice, no questions asked.
Usual Cancellation Policy (for Non-Covid reasons)
As Yellow Swissa would be holding the slot for you and turning down other potential customers, you can only cancel for free within 24 hours of your booking, provided that this is at least 2 weeks before your trip starts.
