Peak Destinations Nepal

Peak destinations are a big company that took over the local company called "Himalayan Encounters" - although their a global enterprise they have a very clear mission and vision of having each country-branch locally owned and managed and they have very strong sustainable practices in place that benefit local communities. For example, in Nepal they have a community homestay project in Chitwan national park in partnership with WWF as well as female guiding projects. They are the first company to ban elephant safaris and they have very high ethical standards.
