Helpful Questions from Other Travellers

Q
How do I get there?
A
The nearest airport to Jim Corbett National Park is Pantnagar Airport (PGH). From Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) airport, you can take a 1-hour flight to Pantnagar (PGH) Airport which will cost around USD40-320, and from there, you have to take a private hire which will cost USD19-23 and which will take around 1 hour 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the subway from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI). Board the Orange line to New Delhi Station and alight after 3 stops (Delhi Aerocity (5m), Dhaula Kuan (14m), Shivaji Stadium (23m) then New Delhi Station). This journey will take 26 minutes. You will have to make a transfer at New Delhi and board the train towards Moradabad or Ghaziabad; after which you have to make a transfer from either stops to Ramnagar. Please check the daily schedules beforehand to know which train you should be boarding at what time. The quickest option would be to board the train towards Ghaziabad and then make the transfer as this total journey would take around 5 hours whereas the other option of making the transfer at Moradabad would take 7 hours. Once you have reached Ramnagar, you would take a private hire to the destined location. This journey will take 14 minutes and cost you approximately USD2-4.

A
Some of the top places to visit nearby Ramnagar include the Kumaon Hills, where you can view the sensational Garg Parvat, a hill in the Kumaon region of snowy Uttarakhand. From there, culture vultures would be glad to know that Bhimeshwar Temple is just a stone's throw away!
